It's like risk of rain and helldivers had a single player baby :D
This is also the perfect game to play while on an altered state of mind (alcohol/weed/sleepy), since there is not a lot of fast skilled aiming or quick timed actions (like none which I like, apart from the meteor launcher but he's cool), and Instead the game relies on choosing the upgrades and placing them wisely on the tower defense section for a more strategy/build-focused gameplay (while still having the amazing jetpack + movements for moment to moment gameplay).
Long story short I give it a 10/10 and at the current price it's a steal!
Very addictive. Tons of fun finding different ways to be overpowered. Tried to just play a couple of goes and ended up addicted to the Railgun with as many projectile upgrades as you can stick on it.
Swarm Harvest is an amazing take on the Vampire Survivor/Megabonk bullet heaven style game, with you having a bit more agency (at least depending on the weapon) along with great responsive controls. Although you only have a single character as there are plenty of different variations of weapons/upgrade, with you not picking a character to have that respective characters weapon to start with, more so allowing you to customize out the gate. Beyond that the harvesting challeneges in the maps with the towers you can place a copy of your drones onto allow for a bit of tower defence as well. If you are a fan of this style game you should get this!
Fun survivors-type game. The turret & extraction mechanics work really well and add some fresh stuff - it gets very tense defending your position as hordes of angry enemies gradually overtake your position. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy stuff like DRG Survivors.
Very fun! It ran without issue on my steam deck. I look forward to going back in after work to unlock more upgrades and maps.
