User Reviews
Marketfield Idle looks like a fun and relaxing incremental game with a simple concept but plenty of room for progression. I like how it combines farming, resource management, cooking, selling goods, and automation instead of focusing on just one activity.
The large number of upgrades is definitely appealing, especially if different combinations can lead to completely different strategies. I also like the prestige system, because starting over with stronger bonuses can make each new run feel more rewarding.
One thing I'd really like to see is more depth in the automation system. As production grows, managing everything manually could become repetitive, so having enough tools to optimize the farm without constantly clicking through menus is important.
Overall, Marketfield Idle seems like a nice choice for anyone who enjoys incremental games and watching numbers grow. It has a relaxing atmosphere and an interesting progression system, and I'm curious to see how far the developers can take it with future updates.
Such a nice and cute incremental. Do not let its minimalist UI fool you: just 5 minutes in and I was already hooked.
It has been interesting to see how the progression evolves. Looking forward to seeing where it goes from here! But one thing I can already say: for such a low price, Marketfield Idle is definitely worth it.
Props to the dev!
I have not played many idle games, so take my review with a grain of salt.
The game has improved a lot since the first time I played it, especially in the presentation area. The game feels good, upgrading, selling, the new synergies feels good when done correctly -- I feel a good sense of strategizing, and cooking feels a lot more rewarding now.
It does become repetitive at some point, as you'll always end up with 90% of the same upgrades, which I suppose is normal for an idle game.
Overall a good game, I see many areas that could be improved, but as I said - the game has improved a lot since early development
It got repetitive pretty quick but it was four bucks and I played it for a good few hours. Good enough to get a thumbs up from me.
Was close to being one of my all time favorites but it fell short. I still highly recommend it but my favorite part was betrayed. The game starts out creating this awesome feeling of choice, that much reminded me of early realm grinder days, where your build paths mattered. For a vast majority of the game, they do! Sadly however once you start opening up some of the meta upgrades, the choices are almost totally washed away and you achieve full build. It makes me sad that this was a "all roads lead to rome" style game but overall, still very good, especially early on.
Coin flipper mini game is kinda dumb and needs some work.
