Description

The magic circle answers to no one but you. The world is flooding. Enemies pour from every direction, endless and relentless. You stand alone at the center, no retreat, no reinforcements. Only the ancient magic circle that orbits at your command, and the power to decide who falls next.

Your will is your weapon

Guide the magic circle. It follows. Hold it over an enemy, your power locks on and strikes. Drive it through the horde – it carves through everything in its path. No buttons to mash. No spells to cast. The magic works on its own. You only decide where.

The gods are watching

Between the waves, time stops. Three divine gifts appear before you and you choose one. Seven pantheons offer their power: the raw fury of Gorr, the creeping chaos of Ryn, the cold patience of Jentu, the shadow arts of Nyx. Uncover the mystery of the eighth god's disappearance. Each run, a new combination. Each combination, a new way to dominate.

The horde never ends

Hundreds flood the arena from every side. They grow stronger. They grow faster. When you fall, you rise again your power intact, the arena reset, the gods still watching. Every death is a lesson. Every run, you go a little further.

Choose your champion

I finally got what this game is all about, just sit back, relax, and keep upgrading the abilities that synergize well with each other so you can snowball faster. It's basically impossible to lose; you just keep progressing. At first, I was hoping for more of a challenge, but after a while I relaxed, got into the flow, and really started enjoying it.

It’s a good game, but it actually demands a lot of attention. I was constantly aiming at enemies. If you just want to sit there AFK and watch the numbers go up, that won't work—you have to be actively engaged in the gameplay.

I'm pretty sad to say this one is a no, and I will be refunding.

The bones of this game are actually really cool. The upgrades during gameplay are really cool and unique and towards the end of a level you will be smashing hundreds of enemies.

That beings said, as far as I can tell, there's not an actual game here. All eight characters are unlocked at the get. There is zero meta progression that is the staple of both incrementals and survivor-likes.

The gameplay loop is kill some enemies, die, get some upgrades, kill some more, repeat, beat level. Then you go to the next level and are reset back to level one and do the exact same thing. So that means in the 15 minutes you spent on the first level you have basically seen the game. As far as I can tell there is no reason to go deeper.
