Description
✦ SIN ✦

The dead arrive before you one soul at a time, carrying stories of cruelty, regret, fear, and desperation. Some seek forgiveness. Others believe they deserve none.
Listen carefully. Judge wisely. Your verdict will decide who ascends, who suffers, and who is condemned to something far worse.
✦ TRIAL ✦

Death is searching for a successor.
Behind a quiet desk at the edge of eternity, you are subjected to a strange and unsettling interview to determine whether you are worthy of inheriting the Ferryman’s mantle.
But while you judge the dead, something else is judging you.
✦ FATE ✦

Every choice matters.
The Ferryman’s Trial is a short narrative experience designed to be completed in a single sitting, where your decisions shape humanity’s future, alter the fate of countless souls, and lead to multiple endings.
No judgment is forgotten. No mercy comes without consequence.

User Reviews
A fantastic proof of concept, and not much more. I love the idea of a hypothetical game that takes this premise, has a lot more characters to judge, and assigns them to you at random. Maybe even with some slight twists on their stories that can be randomized. More thought, more replayability, and a fitting increase in its price to compensate.
But that's not what this is. It's a dollar, it's a fun social experience, and I don't regret supporting or taking the time for it. I look forward to seeing this team's future projects, if they continue down this path.
Mildly interesting concept. Pixel art is beautiful and interesting. The game itself has barely any content or context.
There is a crumb of something interesting here. There is not enough to savor.
My playtime is completing it once thoughtfully, then jamming through it quickly a few times thinking I had done something wrong. No, I did not. it loops like a tiktok short.
i definitely haven't played enough yet, but it is SO DIIIIIIFFFFICUUULLLT but SO FUN
there are some judgements that are extremely gray, especially (eht nam ohw def eht elpoep detcefni daerb gnirud eht enimaf)*.
seriously, the dialogue is so realistic and i love the aspect that (rieht nwo noisuled yllautca ecneulfni rieht noitpecper fo tahw yeht did)*. i feel like a lot of these types of games don't think of details like that, or at least don't put as much care into it.
i honestly can't tell if i AM doing it right and there just isn't more content? (gniredisnoc eht eugolaid ecno uoy hsinif gnigduj eht langiro net sretarahc, gniyas "htaed yllanif deppets kcab" dna tontahw) or if i actually am just messing all of them up.
i love the style and the vibe too!! not to mention the music blends very well into the game, its really nice and relaxing while obviously holding the unsettling nature of the game. i wonder if i can find the ost somewhere (though i do think it is only that one song XD)
this game is great, i wanna see it get more popular and i am excited for possible updates!!

Really neat thought-provoker of morality. I recommend playing with others, especially a second time through, and seeing how they make judgments.
Really bad.
Waste of time.
Totally pointless and uninspired.
