Description
You don’t play cards. You compile them.
Nybble is a roguelike deckbuilder where every card is a line of code. Stack them into loops. Wrap them in conditionals. Chain detonations that rewrite your program mid-run. Then hit run and watch your logic turn into bytes - or watch a single misplaced statement crash the whole thing.
Twelve hackers, twelve playstyles. Each unlockable hacker rewires the rules: one rewards minimalist programs, another thrives on chaos and explosions, another lets you operate silently. Pick your kit, climb the heat ladder, and learn the shape of every deck you can build.
A meta-economy with teeth. Spend codecoin in the shop between levels. Snap up packages like regex, webhook, prefetch, prometheus - that bend the rules in your favor. Some are common, some you’ll only see once, some unlock only after you’ve already beaten them.
The Architect is waiting. Climb the levels. Survive the bosses. Cross the threshold. Whatever happens at the end of the run isn’t on the page yet - you’ll have to compile it yourself.

User Reviews
Perfect example why solo/indie devs should ignore the anti-AI hysterics. This game was basically degraded from a good looking game with genAI graphics to a badly done fetish photo bashjob.
super laggy for me
Adore this game! played a lot of it in early demos (when it was still on itch) - happy to see it come to 1.0 release and really enjoying all the updated character art and lines. We need more FMV games. Clever rogue-like code inspired game, satisfying if you like breaking for loops and silly big numbers. Gonna go rewatch Hackers now
Decent deck building rogue lite game! Has a bit of a learning curve if you are not well versed with the coding landscape.
Whatever you do, if you are not a coder, go through the tutorials. I was over confident when i first started and missed some key gameplay points!
Other than that, I find it a fun take and worth the time spent
Obsessed with the characters and dialog! Really fun game, despite me knowing next to nothing about programming. Tutorial makes it easy to understand. Love the 90's rock guy. Beat it with a couple characters already, can't wait to see who else I unlock!
