Description
Is Guilty is a psychological horror job simulator where you work the night shift at a lonely drive-thru coffee stand. But you aren't just serving coffee.
You have been blackmailed into finding a criminal. Someone in this city committed a crime, and they are coming through your drive-thru tonight.
Using your government-issued database, a police scanner, and your own intuition, you must investigate every customer while maintaining your cover as a barista. But be careful identifying the wrong suspect has consequences, and something else is watching you from the darkness.
THE NIGHT SHIFT
Serve donuts, pour coffee, and count change. Keep the customers happy so they lower their guard. Listen to their stories, check their license plates, and cross-reference their identities on your terminal.
THE INVESTIGATION
Every night, you receive a case file with clues about a suspect. The Watcher wants a name by 4 AM.
Scan License Plates: Are they driving updated vehicles? Were they near the crime scene?
Check Backgrounds: Do they have a criminal record? Are they lying about their job?
Observe Behavior: Is that nervousness, or just caffeine withdrawal? why is there blood on that steering wheel?
THE PARANOIA
You are confined to your booth. Outside, the darkness is closing in. Weird figures appear in the distance. The power flickers. Are you the hunter, or the prey?
KEY FEATURES
Immersive Simulation: Use a realistic coffee machine, cash register, and computer terminal.
Escalating Cases: Each night brings a new crime and a new suspect. Stay sharp, the cases only get harder.
Multiple Endings: Your choices matter. Will you turn in the guilty, help them escape, or get caught yourself?
Atmospheric Horror: A tense, claustrophobic experience where the horror comes from what you don't see.
The coffee is hot. The night is long. And one of them... Is Guilty.

Really Fun Game.
I Got Every Single Bad Suspect Right, But I Failed My Duty In The End.
My Excuse Is, I Rolled The Dice On The Game's Ending Decision...
My Gameplay: https://youtu.be/OJlxrJuJYMw
Is Guilty does a great job with atmosphere. The horror feels balanced - it's tense and unsettling without relying on constant jumpscares, which made the experience much more enjoyable for me. The mystery and investigation aspects kept me interested throughout.
However, there are a couple of issues that became frustrating during gameplay. The biggest one is the movement speed. The character walks extremely slowly, and with how much backtracking the game requires, it starts to feel tedious after a while.
There also seems to be a problem with restocking products at the moment. I wasn't able to properly refill inventory, which made managing the store more frustrating than it should be.
Aside from those issues, I genuinely enjoyed the game. The atmosphere is excellent, the horror is well-balanced, and the overall concept is very engaging. With a few quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes, this could be an even better experience.
Fun game. I really enjoyed it!
Absolutely loved this. It took me about 6 hours to 100% complete, and I enjoyed pretty much the entire thing.
The core investigation loop is simple but satisfying: checking what people say, comparing vehicle details, criminal records, locations and timings, then trying to work out who actually fits the case. I especially liked that I couldn't always just latch onto the most obvious clue, I made mistakes, questioned witnesses, second-guessed evidence, and gradually got better at actually investigating rather than guessing.
The atmosphere also adds a lot. Sitting alone on the night shift, questioning drivers and digging through databases gives the whole thing a strangely immersive feeling despite the relatively simple mechanics.
Six hours felt about perfect. It never seriously overstayed its welcome, and going for 100% gave me a reason to properly learn the game rather than just rush through it.
Really enjoyable little investigation game. Had my heart racing several times during the story mode. I'd absolutely play a bigger, harder and more complex sequel to this.
Not 100% MY cup of tea, but a well made horror/job simulation game.
