I usually don't have motion sickness but this game is making me wanna puke and sweating all over
**Sushi Simulator: 6/10**
I was actually going to mark this game as “Not Recommended,” but when I saw that it was made by only two developers, I decided to reconsider my opinion a little.
One thing I really enjoyed was the way you make the sushi. It is genuinely fun, and I really like playing games like this to relax my mind. Just like in real life, repetitive tasks can help keep your mind occupied when you are tired.
However, the game does have some problems, and the main one is that it becomes far too repetitive. There is no real way to upgrade or expand the restaurant. You can only hire a waiter who does not even know how to use the card machine to charge customers, haha.
I do believe the game has potential, especially if it were developed into a bigger project. But after around four hours, I became extremely bored, and I no longer feel like opening the game again. That is a shame, because I can usually play simulation games for much longer.
My suggestion to the developers would be to add more features that break up the repetition, because the current gameplay becomes tiring very quickly. Supermarket simulation games are a good example. In those games, you can hire employees to restock shelves, expand your storage area, upgrade the store, and gradually unlock more things to do.
Another issue is that the NPCs constantly repeat “konnichiwa” and “arigato.” It becomes very annoying and feels like being trapped inside a simulation running the same two voice lines in an endless loop. In this case, I honestly think it would be better for the NPCs to have no voices at all than to repeat only two words constantly.
I know you are a small studio, so please do not give up. Keep making games, and I hope that one day I will be able to give one of your future projects a perfect 10/10.
Good luck on your journey!
There is VERY LITTLE content. It get's boring really fast. Zero updates since April. Don't waste your money.
Dev abandon the game did not care to fo anything else with it
