A fun platformer, it remembers me of mario galaxy and a hat in time which is great
Cute little game for those who enjoy 3D platformers!
Short, sweet and cute lil' platformer game, with adorable style!
It's good to see that people still make simple/relaxing platformer games.

In My Bubble •° is a cute little 3D platformer that caught me off guard with how much it actually gives me to do. I am playing as a child in a dream world where the sheep that normally deliver dreams have been corrupted by a strange shadow. My job is to rescue them, deal with the nightmares and eventually bring the morning back to the world. It has a very colourful and harmless look to it, but there is a decent adventure underneath all of that, and I like how much the bubble mechanic is built into nearly everything I do.
The bubble system is easily my favourite part. I have a Bubble Stick that lets me create bubbles which can be used to attack corrupted sheep and other enemies, but I can also bounce on them and use them as platforms. That makes the bubbles useful for both combat and movement, so I am constantly thinking about where I should create one and whether I should use it to reach somewhere or deal with an enemy. The Bubble Dash also gives the combat a bit more energy and helps the game feel like more than a basic collectathon.
I also like the way the game mixes platforming with exploration. I am moving through the dream world, rescuing sheep, collecting things and looking for different parts of each area instead of simply running from one objective to the next. There are bosses as well, so the adventure has some bigger moments rather than being entirely made up of small platforming sections. There are 21 achievements, and some of them encourage me to explore different parts of the game or complete stages in specific ways.
The presentation is probably what makes the game easiest for me to enjoy. Everything is colourful and cute, from the little sheep to the dream world itself, and the child character fits the style really well. The darker shadow that has taken over the world gives the bright environments something to work against too. I like the general atmosphere because it feels relaxing without making the game completely passive. It is still an action adventure, but it has a much softer personality than most games built around fighting enemies.
There are some rough edges though. The game is fairly simple in how it handles combat and platforming, and I never feel like I am dealing with incredibly deep mechanics. The sound effects also stand out to me as something that could have been better. The developer has released updates since launch, including fixes for things like player voice effects, bubble hit sounds and other issues, so it is clear that the game has been getting attention after release. The developer also replaced the original generative AI background music with original and royalty free music, which is a change I appreciate because the soundtrack is such an important part of keeping the dreamlike atmosphere together.
I think the fact that it is completely free helps the whole package quite a bit. I can play the full game without having to worry about buying anything just to get access to the main adventure. There is also full controller support, Steam Cloud and Steam achievements, and the game is clearly designed around a straightforward single player experience. I would have liked a little more depth in the combat and some more variety in what I was doing between areas, but I never feel like the game is trying to be something much bigger than it actually is.
Overall, In My Bubble •° is a charming free platformer that I think does a good job with its main idea. The bubble mechanic works for both movement and combat, the dream world looks nice, the sheep give the adventure a clear goal and there is enough exploration and extra stuff to stop it from feeling completely bare. It is not a particularly deep platformer and some of the sound and gameplay could use more polish, but I still had a good time with it. For me, it is one of those smaller free games that is easy to recommend when I want something colourful, relaxing and simple without expecting a huge amount of complexity.
