I feel like this game kinda suffers from the lack of coyote time like most unity games do especially because its a movement game but otherwise most stuff was fine maybe except respawns that didnt move the enemies to their spawnpoints leading to deathloops on some stages other than that i loved the soundtrack and the silly guy you play as. Game runs fine but id be surprised if it didnt as unity isnt exactly too hard to run these days.
Id love to see the game succeed thanks to whoever reccomended me the game on xitter
Update: it was the dev who reccomended it lol sorries im bad at paying attention

Hypercore, developed by Hyperforg and published by WILD FROG STUDIOS, presents itself as a fast-paced and delightfully chaotic 3D platformer built around speed, momentum, and dynamic traversal. Rather than adhering to the rigidity of traditional stage-based platformers, it embraces unpredictability and variety, offering an ever-shifting challenge that encourages experimentation as much as mastery. Its vibrant environments and exaggerated movement physics establish an immediate sense of energy, drawing players into a world where quick thinking and fluid motion are essential. From the outset, the game commits to the idea that repetition does not equate to monotony; every run is meant to feel like a fresh encounter thanks to its procedural twists and rotating combinations of terrain features, hazards, and item placements.

Movement is the heart of the experience, and Hypercore leans heavily on the joy of traversal. Jumps, dashes, boosts, wall interactions, and item-augmented mobility form a toolkit that feels accessible to new players yet offers surprising depth for those chasing perfect runs. The stages blend broad, readable layouts with clever platforming set pieces designed to test both reaction speed and spatial awareness. Items scattered through each run act as wildcard modifiers, altering the way players approach obstacles or opening up new, more stylish movement routes. This gives each attempt a sense of improvisation, preventing the gameplay from becoming too memorization-driven. Even when a stage theme repeats, its internal structure, enemy placements, and item combinations make it feel distinct enough to sustain long-term engagement.

Multiplayer is where Hypercore embraces its most chaotic and endearing qualities. Supporting up to four players either locally or online, the game transforms from a speedrunning playground into a party spectacle where coordination and competition intertwine. The physics-driven antics naturally intensify when multiple players rush toward the same goal, turning even simple jumps into hilarious cooperative misadventures. Cooperative runs allow experienced players to guide newcomers through the fast-moving chaos, while competitive sessions highlight the game’s agile movement mechanics and encourage players to find creative ways to outmaneuver one another. The multiplayer design retains the same procedural variety as single-player, ensuring that no match plays out exactly the same way.

Aesthetic presentation supports the game’s emphasis on accessibility and fun. Hypercore uses bright colors, clean silhouettes, and straightforward environmental motifs to ensure that movement paths and hazards are always readable at high speeds. Rather than attempting high-fidelity realism, it opts for a stylized look that accentuates the game’s upbeat tone and mechanical clarity. This visual approach also helps sell the momentum-driven physics, making even failed jumps or unexpected collisions feel playful rather than punishing. The environments, while not elaborate in narrative depth, offer enough thematic diversity to keep progression interesting, shifting between cliffside arenas, desolate plains, elevated platforms, and more whimsical layouts.

Despite its strengths, the game’s current early stage and relatively small pool of user reviews leave some questions about its long-term balance, difficulty tuning, and potential content depth for solo players. With no sprawling narrative campaign and a focus on short replayable runs, players who prefer structured progression or story-driven content might find Hypercore more appealing as a casual skill-based diversion rather than a primary playthrough. Still, early community feedback suggests that the developers are actively iterating on mechanics, adding new items, refining systems, and adjusting level variations to improve both challenge and fairness. This willingness to refine the experience hints at a promising future for players who enjoy watching a game grow alongside its community.

Overall, Hypercore stands out as a lively and inventive platformer built around momentum, procedural unpredictability, and social fun. Its movement system encourages creativity, its stages constantly shift to maintain freshness, and its multiplayer options transform the experience from a personal challenge into an uproarious shared adventure. While it may not satisfy those searching for a deep solo campaign, it excels as a replay-driven arcade-style experience where each run invites players to push their agility a little further. With its energetic charm and developer commitment to ongoing improvement, Hypercore establishes a foundation with plenty of room to evolve, making it a compelling option for fans of modern platforming chaos and cooperative party play.

It's a really fun game once you get the hang of the controls and game flow. item and enemy discovery and management is cool, and the time-based win condition/leaderboards is a great change to the typical rouge-like formula. Because of that, it's forgiving when you die a lot in the discovery phase, which makes it fun and easier to improve! Definitely worth the price on-sale or off.

EDIT: with the latest updates the game now has a solid challenge mode with excellent tutorialization, working multiplayer, and just an all-around solid formula. It is super fun with a great vibe and sense of humor. Style is cool too! Buy it a give it a try!
