Description

Mari, a quiet and anxious girl, sets out to find some limited-edition slime merchandise but ends up at a small wellness center by mistake. The receptionist, Dana, is a bit unusual but kind, and suggests Mari try a stress-relief session instead. Unsure but curious, Mari agrees. Now it's up to you to help her relax and feel a little lighter. Will she find some relief through your touch or will you scare her away?
Find the right spots on her body, and you might just see her return.

Take on the role of a massage therapist helping Mari manage stress and rebuild her confidence. Touch, rub, and pull the right spots at the right time for her pleasure. Let your hands explore every part of her body.
Ease her tension, gain her trust... and she might open herself completely, in ways you won’t forget.

Mood Management
Pay attention to her mood and make sure she's happy with your service.
Speak at the wrong moment, or move into more intimate touch before she’s ready, and she won’t be back for another session!

User Reviews
The Taming Massage Parlor: Mari's Story combines visual novel storytelling with light business simulation, creating an experience that revolves around personal growth, customer management, and narrative progression. Players follow Mari as she begins a new chapter of her life in a massage parlor, gradually learning the trade while overcoming various personal and professional challenges. Rather than relying exclusively on its adult premise, the game emphasizes steady progression through daily routines, relationship building, and business improvement, giving players a clear sense of accomplishment as new opportunities and story events become available.
The gameplay centers on balancing work responsibilities with character development. Each successful day earns income that can be invested into improving Mari's abilities and unlocking additional features. As her experience increases, players gain access to more advanced services, fresh interactions, and expanded gameplay systems. This progression loop creates satisfying momentum, encouraging continued play by consistently rewarding time invested with meaningful upgrades and story content. Although the management mechanics remain relatively simple compared to dedicated simulation titles, they effectively support the game's overall pacing without becoming overly demanding.
Storytelling is another area where the game makes a positive impression. Conversations gradually reveal more about Mari's personality and the individuals she encounters throughout her journey. Supporting characters receive enough attention to make their interactions feel worthwhile, while player choices influence the order and availability of various scenes. Although the narrative is not built around dramatic twists or complex branching paths, it succeeds in making Mari's development feel genuine as she gains confidence and experience over time. This emphasis on character interactions gives the game additional appeal beyond its simulation elements.
Visually, the game embraces a colorful anime-inspired presentation that suits its tone well. Character artwork is expressive and polished, helping conversations feel lively and emotionally engaging. The illustrations showcase a consistent artistic style, while the user interface remains easy to navigate during both story sequences and management tasks. Menus are straightforward, making it simple to monitor progression, purchase upgrades, and move through the game's daily routine without unnecessary complexity. While environmental variety is somewhat limited, the attractive character designs remain one of the title's strongest visual features.
The game's pacing benefits from the way it alternates between narrative scenes and business management. Players spend time interacting with customers, earning money, enhancing Mari's capabilities, and unlocking new story events in a cycle that rarely feels stagnant during the early and middle portions of the experience. The gradual introduction of additional content helps maintain interest, providing enough variety to keep progression engaging. However, players who spend long sessions grinding for currency or specific unlocks may eventually notice repetitive gameplay patterns, particularly when repeating similar daily activities.
As an adult-oriented title, mature content naturally plays a significant role in the overall package. However, these scenes are integrated into the progression system rather than existing as isolated rewards. Unlockable events are tied to Mari's growth, customer relationships, and overall advancement, making the content feel connected to the game's broader structure. Players interested in both visual novels and simulation mechanics are likely to appreciate this balance, while those looking for deep strategic management or an extensive branching narrative may find the overall scope more modest than expected.
Despite its strengths, there are areas where the experience could be expanded. The management systems provide enjoyable progression but lack the complexity found in more robust business simulators. Likewise, some daily activities eventually become repetitive once players have become familiar with the gameplay loop. Even so, the combination of consistent rewards, attractive artwork, and ongoing story development helps offset these shortcomings and provides enough incentive to continue unlocking new scenes and upgrades.
Overall, The Taming Massage Parlor: Mari's Story delivers an enjoyable blend of visual novel storytelling and accessible simulation mechanics. Its strongest qualities lie in its steady sense of progression, appealing presentation, and focus on character development, allowing it to stand out within its niche. While its streamlined management systems and repetitive late-game routine prevent it from reaching exceptional heights, it remains a polished and entertaining experience for players seeking an adult visual novel with meaningful progression and light business simulation elements.

this game is the most glitchy game to ever touch steam it literally been literally stuck on stopping for a liek day
this game is ♥♥♥♥. either its a clone of 'massage my ex-bully' or its a sequel. regardless its slow.
personally, an option to speed up massage animations and dialogue would be better than to wait for the time for each action takes to tick over.
multiple times i've achieved each objective with the massage and there is still time left that I can't skip. those are the main things I've noticed.
animations seem alright but I can't really say much since most of my gameplay was ruined by just how slow each action takes.
First and foremost thoroughly enjoy the interaction aspect of the game. Story did seem a little rush or dry but I think the story isn't really needed to begin with. After reading the comments about the previous game (Massage my Ex-Bully) I actually went back and purchase that one as well to see the improvements and changes from the First one to This one. Originally I purchased this game thinking it was a Women's Massage Game or I I had the ability to switch between Mc and Dana but no avail. It would be nice if the Developers include a DLC or make it a third game, they would have my money. Wish there was tools like in the first game to make the interactions easier for Mood Levels.
Interaction: 10/10
Story: 6.5/10 (Glad it's there but not needed)
Replayability: 9.5/10
The game mechanics have been improved a lot from the previous entry, does feel like you are actually interacting with the character altough in a minor degree but feels satisfying nonetheless, personally i like those details about preferences as it "appeal" more to different gooners but its like the previous one a very short game, after some interactions you are left with little to do, and when you reach the ending you are free to do anything but nothing else to achieve, of course every game need to end at some point, just the game too short and still lack content, hopefully next entry expand its concept. That aside i enjoyed Mari character, gotta admit among my favorites archetypes, her design was good and the thing about... you know... minor things like... the color of those and... how full the forest deh... a very nice touch~
Looking forward to what they will offer next time, and if they will add other minor details like accessories (cause those would be very nice)
