About the Demo

Trumpets in bottoms, horses with human faces, great gilded lettering framed by angels and lilies - nobody has vision like a medieval artist. Hey, that's you! Welcome to your very own illuminated manuscript workshop, the Scriptorium - a cozy, relaxing creative space with no timers and no pressure.

• Play a few pages of Story Mode, and take commissions from prestigious patrons in a kingdom overflowing with gossip.

• Enjoy a sample of Sandbox Mode. Blank parchment, a selection of medieval assets, and no clients or commissions - just you and your boundless imagination!

The composition screen is the creative heart of Scriptorium, where you decide how you want your masterpiece to look. Choose parchments in many shapes and sizes, then drag and drop design elements directly onto your canvas.

A colorful cast of clients brings you requests of all kinds. Your job is to be creative and have fun as you fulfill their wishes in your own style. Spread your art across the kingdom and become celebrated by bards and historians for centuries to come.

Our imaginative players have embraced Scriptorium's potential by creating:

• Letters and invitations

• Decorated song lyrics and illustrated quotes

• Tarot cards

• Cute stickers

• Coloring pages to print

• Desktop wallpapers

• Fantasy maps

• Props and handouts for tabletop RPG sessions

• Medieval recreations of games, movies, and pop culture moments

• And memes, of course!

Scriptorium is built for sharing. Save your work to your gallery, then export it as a PNG optimized for printing and social sharing. Show it to the world, or keep it forever as your own little masterpiece.

We think you'll love Scriptorium if you enjoy…
