About the Game
Enter the Cat God Trial for Dried Fish
Coco wakes up hungry when a mysterious flyer leads him to the Cat God’s maze trial. If he can pass the trial, endless dried fish await. Along the way, a tiny mouse friend appears throughout the maze, pointing the way and helping you gradually understand each puzzle’s rules.
Push, Shift, Squeeze, and Blast!
Study the positions of walls, boxes, pipes, and exits. In tight spaces, push boxes, adjust Coco’s position, and find the perfect spot where he can squeeze out of a pipe and explode right away!
Fresh Hand-Drawn Mazes, Gentle but Clever

Cute cat. Cozy visuals. Puzzles that may make your controller consider flying across the room. 😂
After completing all the biomes, the Temple, and the hidden puzzles, I can say Cat Squeeze is adorable—but do not underestimate it! Some puzzles really made me work for those fish snacks.
I loved the cat, exploring the different biomes, and discovering the hidden bonus trails branching off the map. Finding another area after finishing the main biomes was a lovely surprise! This wasn’t a quick little puzzle game for me; there was plenty to keep me busy.
The difficulty is both a highlight and a frustration. Solving a tricky puzzle feels great, but some felt overly complicated, especially without hints. The little mouse introduces things like movement, but I would have loved to see him play a bigger role—perhaps offering optional hints when you’re stuck.
A few things could use improvement:
• On keyboard, the leave-level button is Q, and I couldn’t rebind it. I kept pressing it accidentally during puzzles, and returning sometimes restarted the level. Rebinding or an exit confirmation would help.
• The menu icons aren’t labelled. Some are obvious, but others left me guessing, even when hovering over them. Tooltips would be welcome!
• Completion markers became frustrating. When I accidentally re-entered a completed puzzle and moved, its checkmark changed back to a question mark. Re-solving it and continuing could then do the same to the next puzzle, leaving me feeling like I needed to replay the whole set to restore my checkmarks.
• Walking too close to a puzzle entrance automatically drops you in. I’d love a prompt showing the puzzle’s name and asking whether I want to enter, especially when revisiting areas.
The music changes with each biome, which I appreciated, although some tracks felt a little intense for my idea of relaxing. Thankfully, you can turn it down.
Overall, I had fun, and there’s a lot of potential here. I recommend it to people who enjoy challenging puzzles wrapped in a very cute package. If you want effortless relaxation, some levels might test that plan. If you enjoy voluntarily tormenting your brain while an adorable cat keeps you company… welcome. 🐱💜
Cozy? Yes. Chaos? Also yes.
My personal rating: 4/5 stars.
Nice chill puzzle game. Daughter always asks to see the cat game. Then falls asleep one or two levels in.
Cat Squeeze is a nice time for sokoban fans looking for a twist on basic box pushing. The player-cat enters pneumatic tubes. When a tube exit has only one free space for the cat to exit, the cat explodes in a fit of anxiety or something and blows up a 2x3 area. It's as ridiculous a premise as it sounds and I'm absolutely here for it.
Puzzles are definitely on the chill, easy-moderate side of difficulty but, you know, not every game needs to break my brain. There are good ideas here and combined with the mega cute art and vibes, I recommend Cat Squeeze, especially for a little break between more substantial puzzle games. Check it out!
A clever and great puzzle game is really fun
The puzzles in this game are good, and at the perfect level of difficulty. They aren't too easy or so hard you have to squeeze your brain cells until they explode.
