Extremely good game, this could rule the top down racing world. Unfortunately it does seem like the developer is absent, which is a shame, because the potential in this game is extremely high. Spectacular proof of concept. If it had customization and workshop support, I'd probably spend decades with this one.
TLDR: It has potential, but there have been no updates or communication from the developers with game breaking issues in the title.
Racing Life is your traditional arcade circuit racer. The title offers multiple camera options to play as you like. If you want the overhead third person view like Circuit Superstars, no problem. You want chase cam view of Ridge Racer, no problem. You want in-car first person, no problem.
The tracks and the cars are based off real world vehicles and locations. For the vehicles, there are a mix across eras from Brazilian Stockcar, to formula cars, to GT cars. There is also a native Linux build (although there are performance issues with the native Linux build so just run the Windows build via Proton).
All of this sounds good, until you play the game. There are odd performance issues, many bugs. Pitstops are just plain broken. Collisions have no weight so the cars get flipped around too easy. And the list goes on. There has been no roadmap discussed or acknowledgement of fixing anything.
Until there is more development on this title, stay away.
Wow what I fun Arcade racer! I would reccommend this over Iracing Arcade.

*3rd person cam feels good and is a must to play in (I hope the dev focuses more on 3rd person or 1st over the top down cam)

*Dev should add understeer/oversteer and more reason for brake and thrttle control
This game could really be an contender to put IRacing arcade in the dirt
This game looks beautiful but needs a lot of work when it comes to the ai cars always crashing into me! FIX THIS PLEASE! Could also use driving wheel support too!
Was looking forward to this one... But it didn't deliver. Compared to other (top-down) racing games its slow (no sense of speed), feels like driving on ice all the time and no fun to play so keep leaving it after every attempt.
Not my kind of racing game (yet)... But I'll keep checking it regularly to see its progress.
Update: change the POV and you'll learn to love this game. Way more fun that way.
