At first glance not exactly cheap for a mere PDF (about 50 % of the game itself at full price), but from another perspective you get a really well laid out 160 page book full of developer stories and it's Christmas, so take my money, EQ Studios!
One day later...
I've now read the whole book. Don't expect deep insights from grizzled veterans here, it is the story of a young and inexperienced team pushing on, knowing their limits and making lots of compromises on the way to their goal. But I admire the whole professional presentation.
Buying and reading it won't turn you into a game developer, but is a way of showing appreciation and support.
