Its fun
This game gives you a lot of different solitaire games for the price.
Very relaxing.
Solitaire.
Good.
One day I'll complete every Edition out there.
This version has all new levels in the maps and is not to be confused with the regular edition of the game, which is shorter and has different levels. Certainly a pretty and relaxing game, nothing difficult at all once you get a few powerups and wild cards. Your goal is to find all the emeralds buried in the layouts so you can build all the castles. It's not necessary to remove all the cards unless you want the "perfect" on a level.
I bought the regular edition elsewhere and remember that back in the day, there were a number of kinks with the game, but they've all been worked out as this new CE version played without any issues for me.
The 8 castle scenes to build in between levels are the same in all versions, so if you were looking for new graphics, not happening. The music and other details are also the same in all versions. The bonus solitaire variants are also the same.
At 320 levels plus 18 bonus solitaire variants, it's plenty long enough for me and got kind of tedious after a while since most of the levels are easy if you use the powerups. There aren't any extra frills like side quests or tweaks to the one-up, one-down solitaire play which more recent games in the JM Solitaire series have, but that's OK with me as I like to finish my games and the newer ones are too much a project to 100% for me at least.
The Steam Achievements are the same as the in-game achievements, but if the in-game versions of the achievements haven't unlocked yet, you cannot get the corresponding Steam Achievements to pop until the in-game ones unlock. Just an FYI for the completionists, as this baffled me.
