User Reviews
The game play in this is pretty straightforward, one up, one down. The main reason I love the game is because of the castles, underwater scenes and animations. I find it so relaxing to watch the fish swimming by. I don't care for playing the mahjong games or the bonus solitaires, but I still enjoy the main game and like to play it on Steam. I find that playing soiitare on its own is pretty boring, but when I can earn gems to build the castles, that makes it worth pushing the cards around. I prefer easy over hard, so play on relaxed mode, but it's still challenging enough to complete a hand with three stars.
I enjoyed playing the game, it was a stress reliever.
Fun game
i've begun playing through all of the past grey alien solitaire games since playing forbidden solitaire, and while i had to take breaks now and then, i've found this to be a good experience. if i have any nitpicks, it's the following:
- "remove selected card" needs some time to be responsive if any other kind of card, jewel, or coin animation has taken place, whereas "remove random card" has no such restrictions.
- "aces up" achievement of requiring 1200 aces played is a little bit steep. i've done everything else in the game that i can, but am having to replay levels to try and grind this out.
- when new mahjong levels are unlocked on the extra levels screen, selecting "play now" rather than "okay" will take you to a mahjong game on the levels 1-200 screen.
these are all pretty minor in the grand scheme of things though, and i liked the game!
The sheer volume of solitaire in this is incredible. It also has a ton of Mahjong levels if you like that too.
